RETURNING TO QA

After years of dust, builders and disruption, the new Queen Alexandra "Super-Hospital" is finally taking shape. PHB have been offered a new studio within the Main Block at Cosham. It is expected that we will be moving into our new accomodation in July 2009 and we hope to start a new building with new equipment, new programs and returning to the wards with requests, dedications and interviews.

We hope to see you (as a visitor of course - nobody likes to be a patient) in our new studio suite and details will be released here as and when we have them!

THE MOVE TO ST' MARY'S HOSPITAL

Portsmouth Hospital Broadcasting set up it's studio at St' Mary's Hospital in Fratton after moving from the Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham. The Station is now up and running after a period off air whilst the Patient line service was re-connected and tested This is now fully operational at the Queen Alexander Hospital

We are now able to broadcast our full schedule of programming and are on-air 7 days a week.

As ever, we are delighted to receive requests and dedications. Contact us here
Please Include: Who the request is for, Ward They Are On, Day and Preferred Time, Which Music, Alternative Music, and of course who the request is from

In Summer 2009 we are due to return to the Queen Alexandra Hospital once its re-development is complete. We are hoping to install a fully functional, brand new studio complete with our own re-development in both programming and interaction. We hope that our move back to QA will allow us to reconnect our freephone number (from Patientline handsets) and give our presenters the opportunity to visit listeners in the wards.
