PHB move to the QA Delayed

Due to changes at with the NHS PFI project at Queen Alexandra Hospital, PHB will not be moving studios as planned in May 2009. This may be delayed by 6 months.

PHB goes masonic over a donation to the new studio
Members of the Portus Magnus Lodge in Portsmouth have donated £500 to PHB towards new equipment at their soon-to-be home in Queen Alexandra Hospital. Local paper The News have been kind enough to publish the news release on their website.

PHB would like to thank the members of Portus Magnus Lodge for their kindness.

Broadcasting to Patients throughout Portsmouth's Hospitals

Welcome to Portsmouth Hospital Broadcasting, broadcasting to the hospitals of Portsmouth; Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham & St. Mary's Hospital in Fratton.

Portsmouth Hospital Broadcasting is a voluntary organisation run exclusively by it's volunteer members.We receive NO regular funding from any individual or organisation.

Portsmouth Hospital Broadcasting returns to the Queen Alexandra - October 2009

Following the completion of works at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Cosham, Portsmouth Hospital Broadcasting will be re-locating to new premises within the main block, B Level. We aim to raise enough funds for a new studio so every penny counts as well as rebuilding our broadcast unit from our current site-to-site FM link (outside of the normal range - sorry) to a hardwire connection.

We will always gladly accept cheques at our St. Mary's Studio (St Marys Hospital, Milton Road, Portsmouth). You can find us in the "old telephone exchange" behind Cafe Blue!
